The Asus Eee Keyboard is finally official and now Asus has even offered up the official tech specs. As you probably know by now, the Asus Eee Keyboard is essentially a nettop crammed into a keyboard form factor, with a small 5″ display where a keyboard’s number pad usually resides. It has the ability to send HD video to your monitor or tv via a wireless HD video port and thus aims to be the ultimate couch accessory.
Today, the full specs and features of the Asus Eee Keyboard were revealed:
- 5-inch 800×480 multi-touch panel
- Intel Atom N270 CPU
- 945GSE / ICH70M chipset
- 1GB RAM
- 16GB/32GB SSD
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
- up to 4 hour battery life
- 3 USB 2.0, HDMI, 1 VGA port
While we can live with the older generation AtomN270 processor, the mere 4 hour battery life is a bit dissapointing. Hopefully Asus can upgrade the processor to the more energy efficient Atom N450 soon.
