It was back at CES 2010 that we first heard of Shuttle’s upcoming ION 2 powered nettop -Shuttle’s XS35. Now, we have a few more details. The Shuttle XS35 will have a dual core Atom D510 processor along with next generation ION graphics. Two standout features on this nettop are that it’s fanless and it has a bay for an optical drive so it’s possible to slip in a BluRay drive. For ports: HDMI out, 5x USB 2.0 ports, VGA, LAN, 2.5” sata storage an optical drive.
When it launches, Blogee is reporting a price of around 320 euros (about $400) and that’s without RAM, storage or optical drive. Blogeee says they expect it out in France around September.
