Asus AT3N7A-1 Motherboard with Atom 330 and Nvidia Ion
Like the idea of a nettop, but like the idea of building it yourself as well? Well, you’re in luck. You can build that low power, small form factor PC with the AT3N7A-I motherboard just released by Asus. Integrated in the motherboard is a 1.6GHz dual core Intel Atom 330 processor and NVIDIA ION graphics.
The motherboard supports dual channel DDR2-800 memory, 8-channel audio, eSATA and SATA connections, and Bluetooth. There’s also a single PCI slot, and an HDMI jack.
French site, Blogeee got a chance to check out one of these motherboards, check out their hands-on video after the break.

MSI Windtop AE1900 Disected
MSI’s new nettop, the AE1900 Windtop looks nice and tiday on the outside, but but as you can see, it’s a different story on the inside. There aren’t many surprises to be found in there, but it does look like anyone hoping to upgrade the RAM may be out of luck, as the standard 2GB of RAM is soldered on with no slot for expansion — although there seems to be a bit of confusion as to whether that’ll be the case in the actual retail version, or just this early version sent out for review.

Acer Ion Powered Hornet Nettop
Is is rumoured that Acer plans to launch a new low power nettop on April 8th. The Acer Hornet will reportedly be be built around the NVIDIA Ion platform, which means it will have a low power 1.6GHz Intel Atom N230processor paired with an NVIDIA graphics processor that should provide enough power to handle 1080p video playback. It should also prove capable of handling some modern video games that would normally run like crap on most Intel Atom processors using integrated Intel GMA950 graphics.
What’s more, Engadget reports that the Hornet will come with a Wiimote-like remote control that you can use to play games or navigate on-screen menus. In other words, the Hornet is just begging to be placed next to the HDTV in your living room.
The computer will have an 80GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, and Vista Home Basic. While Windows Vista isn’t known for running well on slower machines, you can also pick up a pricier model with 2GB of RAM, a 160GB hard rive, and Windows Vista Home Premium which includes media center features for interacting with music, movies, photos, and online video from the comfort of your couch. If Engadget’s sources are correct, this nettop could sell for under $299.
